Tiomate Transcaps (Formoterol,Tiotropium) 

Tiomate Transcaps is made by Lupin Ltd.whose main ingredients are Formoterol(12mcg) and Tiotropium(18mcg). This drug is used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease as it has two salts and both perform different functions. Formoterol acts as a bronchodilator and tiotropium acts as a anticholinergic. They work to relax our muscle in the airways and widen the passage of airway which makes breathing easier.

Rotacaps are usually placed in the device called rotahaler and it is been crushed with the help of mouthpiece. Once we hear that click sound than we have to breath in deeply through the mouthpiece and hold our breath for 10 seconds. Once you are done with the process rinse your mouth thoroughly.

Sometimes dryness occurs in mouth as a side effect of this drug.
